Keontae White

Senior – Guard

6’3 – 165

2017-18 Preview: Keontae is a quick and athletic guard who can score at the basket and from the outside. He is a committed scorer as well as a willing passer. His unselfishness is a key element of his leadership abilities. Keontae’s length allows him to play the passing lanes well on defense and his LeBron-esque chase down block is one of his trademarks. If he performs to the best of his abilities, Keontae is a player of the year candidate for not only the conference, but the state of Wisconsin.

Past Seasons: Keontae is entering his third year on the varsity level where he has earned All-Conference honors in the prior two seasons. Last season he appeared in 20 games averaging 20.6 ppg. He began the season with a 31 point outburst against Wauwatosa West. Later on in the season he scored 25 points and tallied 20 assists against Pulaski. A few games later, he reached a career high with 36 points against South Division. Keonate has a lot of interest from major universities throughout the country.

Personal: Keontae was born on 3/25/00. He is the son of Brandy Sumler and Kevin White. He attended Story for middle school and is a member of the Wisconsin United AAU program where he plays for Coach B. His favorite subject at Hamilton is Creative Writing with Ms. Hagley. Allen Iverson, Russell Westbrook, and John Wall are Tae’s favorite basketball players and if he could pick any food to eat, it would be anything that what make him a better basketball player.
