2017-18 Preview: Cornell is a scoring guard who is a threat from the outside or inside. Not only can he score in high quantities, he can also create for his teammates. Defenders are forced to play him honest which opens up lanes for his teammates. As a football player, Cornell is strong and aggressive both on offense and defense. He enjoys playing defense and causing chaos by being an active defender and communicating well to his teammates.
Past Seasons: Cornell is entering his first season on the varsity level. On junior varsity last season, he averaged almost 30 points per game off the bench. He had 5 games where he scored 40 or more points. He was very aggressive on offense end and energetic on the defensive end as well.
Personal: Cornell was born on 3/15/00. He is the son of Ninette Oliver and Laterrance Carr and the brother of his teammate, Terrion Oliver. He attended Longfellow for middle school where he played for Coach Edwards. His favorite subject at Hamilton is U.S. History with Mr. Parkinson. The Cleveland Cavilers are Nelly’s favorite basketball team and if he could pick any food to eat, it would be pizza.
